No relationship is perfect. There are many things that can get in the way. In the case of Julia and Nicholas here it all boils down to one simple problem - soaps. Julia is a hardcore Corrie fan whilst Nicholas loves Doctors. I know you’re thinking 'Who watches Doctors?' But Nicholas has been watching it religiously since his days at university.

Between the pair of them they just can’t decide who gets to watch their program when. This has been going on for some time now and the arguments have been escalating. They even tried aversion therapy with the only outcome being that Nicholas can no longer watch scenes featuring Dianne Keen (a.k.a Doctors' Julia Parsons). It sounds like the murky world of compromise is their only recourse...
