Let’s play a game. On first inspection what do you think today’s piece is all about? Is it:

 

1 - The cover for the new album by 2021’s hottest imaginary drum ‘n’ bass group ‘The Brothers’ consisting of a couple of 19 year olds from Upton Snodsbury and a proprietary music generating AI they created at school. Just wait til you what they’ve got planned for their live show…

 

2 - A visual representation of one of the lesser known Grimm’s fairy tales called ‘The 3 brothers’ which revolves around a father’s indecision about who should inherit his estate so he sets his sons the task of going out into the world and seeing who comes back with the best skill. One becomes a barber surgeon, one a blacksmith and one a swordsman. They’ve even got the tattoo’s to prove it if you look closely. There is an ending to the tale but I wouldn’t want to spoil it…

 

3 - A self portrait of sorts. id-iom consists of two out of a possible three brothers. Two artists and the black sheep of the family - an accountant. We’ve taken the liberty of representing him upside down here for obvious reasons.
